how do i listen to a song?Hit the green '+' next to the song title to add that song to your playlist. Then hit the 'load to player' button on the bottom of your playlist to play the song with the Anjuno Media Player. how do I join anjuno?Easy. If you're an artist or want to join the old school way, click the join link in the upper right corner or right here. If you're a fan and want to join with facebook connect click the fconnect button. how do I login?Click here or the login link in the upper right corner. If you're trying to login with facebook connect click here and then click the fconnect link. how do i pay for a song?First, login or join anjuno. Then click the 'add cash' button in the upper right corner of the page. Once you've put some cash in your anjuno account you can then click on whatever song you want to pay for and enter whatever amount you want and click 'pay'. Simple as that. my photos arent uploading, what's up?First make sure that your file is a .jpg, .gif, or a .png, and the extension is included in the filename. Also make sure your photo is less than 1 MB. If this doesn't work, try upgrading your browser to the latest version of Firefox, Safari, or Chrome. what kinds of song files can I upload?Artist's can upload mp3 files up to 50 MBs, and FLAC files up to 100MBs. If you would like to use another format let us know.. what kinds of books can I upload?You can upload Adobe pdf's or text documents, Mobipocket files, and epub files. If you have another format that you'd like to upload, let us know and we'll try to accomodate. how can I make my songs into mp3s?There are various mp3 encoders available on the internet, but the easiest way is to import your song into iTunes, right click, and chose 'Create MP3 Version'. i uploaded my songs but they dont play.Make sure your songs are valid mp3's and the filenames are all valid english characters. only part of my song is playing, what happened?There was probably an error in the upload process. You can either delete the song from your album and re-upload it, or email us the mp3 file and we will re-upload it so you don't lose your song's ratings, listens, and downloads stats. how can I promote my anjuno account?Click here or the button on the bottom of our website that says 'Banner & Buttons'. There you'll find code and images to use wherever you want. can Pepsi use my song for their next huge commercial and only pay me 10 cents?Nope. According to our terms of use downloaded files can only be used for non-commercial purposes. If Pepsi wan't to use your song they have to make a deal with you. how am I supposed to make money if everyone can download my art for free?We believe in the Law of Reciprocity - that true fans will support the artists they love. The people who don't want to pay for your art can probably already torrent it for free, so this just gives them the option of paying a little bit. if they feel like it. But those fans who are willing to pay real money for the art you create can pay you much more directly here on Anjuno than they can with a traditional CD or book purchase, so you make more profit. You can read more about the idea of true fans here. how does anjuno make money?We take 15% of every payment from fans to artists. And we're trying to make that lower if we can get Paypal to stop taking most of it. Anjuno is about creating a great place for artists and fans that makes the economics of digital media better. Our main goal is not to make huge profits (which makes getting investment tricky ;). how do i collect the money my fans pay me?Once you've logged in to your artist account, click the 'cash out' button in the top right corner of the page. There you can specify the amount you would like to cash out and submit your cash out request. After your request is received your money will be deposited into your Paypal account as soon as humanly possible. why are minimum prices bad?If someone really wants to get your art for free, they can always just pirate it or ask a friend to send it to them. At Anjuno we're trying to completely get rid of the need for piracy once and for all. We believe that people will always pay for the art they love. Setting a minimum price will only inhibit new people from discovering your art and encourage more piracy. what is a FLAC?FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, learn more here.
